Condor
Freightliner Condor

Crafted as Freightliner's top-of-the-line heavy-duty truck, the Coronado combines style and performance in a vehicle that will turn heads while you're turning a profit. Its long nose and chrome accents command attention on the road, while the roomy and luxurious interior makes every mile a pleasure. With engines rated up to 625 horsepower, smooth riding suspensions and ergonomically designed cab, the Coronado boasts modern components and built-in comfort to take on the challenges of the road like no other.

Highly maneuverable: with up to a 45-degree wheel cut and a set-back front axle, and equipped with Freightliner’s optional TufTrac rear suspension for high articulation and maximum traction, you can negotiate the Condor through the tight urban sprawl or rough terrain with near flawless agility. The Condor’s huge, two piece windshield, electric side windows and optional side-back windows, offer you a wide open 273-degree field of vision providing an expansive view of the road ahead while increasing driver safety. Powered by Cummins or Caterpillar engines and cooled with a 1,000 square inch radiator, Condor has the power and versatility to handle a variety of construction and refuse jobs.
Steering Options
Engineered with four different factory-built steering options for left-hand or right-hand drive configurations, Condor’s integrated chassis design, and clear frame rails back of cab, make it easy for you to accommodate a variety of bodies to meet your operational needs.

Highly Maneuverable
Condor’s front axle and front suspension are designed for overload situations associated with front-end loading, while the 45-degree wheel cut keeps Condor highly maneuverable in tight construction sites or urban settings. Condor is built for the rough duty that construction and refuse applications hand out every day.

Engine Accessibility
Designed to minimize downtime, Condor’s cab tilts forward 42-degrees, allowing you to fully access the engine from behind the cab. Service points, such as transmission fill and check, engine oil fill and check and others are back of the cab and easy to reach.

Freightliner Condor Engine Access

  • The front PTO for a hydraulic pump is positioned well aft of the front bumper and forward of the radiator, protecting the pump and eliminating the need for a front frame extension.

  • Designed to allow front engine and transmission PTO’s.

  • Optional rear vision monitor, camera and wiring systems are available.
